Martyn Tier, Principal

Martyn has over 30 years’ experience providing legal services to the Australian property industry and specialises in commercial property, mixed-use strata developments, broadacre residential developments, acquisition and sale of rural properties, hotels and trusts. He provides advice in diverse areas which include complex strata titling issues, development agreements and joint venture arrangements including trust-based structures and hotel management agreement negotiation.

Rola Farah, Special Counsel

Rola is a highly experienced property lawyer with over 21 years’ experience – she has been working with Martyn for over 18 years. Her experience includes strata and community title development and sales, residential developments, acquisition and disposal of all types of properties including rural properties and hotels, commercial, retail and industrial leasing for landlords and tenants, telecommunication leases, and due diligence in relation to the acquisition of development sites. She provides advice in various areas which include development titling issues, off the plan contracts, foreign investment acquisitions and easements.

Philippa Kilkelly, Paralegal

Philippa has over 22 years’ global experience as a property secretary and paralegal and has worked in New Zealand, England and Australia. She started working with Martyn and Rola over 15 years ago. Philippa is a very experienced property paralegal who works closely with clients to assist them with everything that is required from contract exchange to settlement, and registration of leases.
